The Deep South welcomed our sisters with open arms as we flew into New Orleans and made our first stop at Xavier University—a college founded by St. Katherine Drexel. We were overjoyed to walk the grounds where Mother Drexel prayed and met amazing students.

The next four days were spent among the “Rajun Cajuns” of the University of Lafayette. What a joy! Sr. Bethany spoke at the Catholic Center’s monthly “501” Series, with a talk entitled “The Secrets of the Saints.” We also had the great gift of speaking to the teenagers of Our Lady of Wisdom parish about the Charism of Life and shared vocation stories—God is blessing so many hearts with His love!

The Sisters hosted an event entitled, “Treasure in a Field: How Jesus sees you and leads you.” With 22 women in attendance, we discussed the beauty of our call to love and vocational discernment, joining one another in prayer and fellowship. It is clear God is blessing these precious and faithful souls!
