With Religious Sisters
Celebrating Days with Religious
Sunday, February 8, 2015
2 to 5 p.m., Vespers at 4:30 p.m.
Did you ever wonder what life was like beyond the walls of a convent? Along with religious across the country, the Sisters of Life will be opening their doors on Sunday, February 8 for the first ever National Open House Day with Religious. Pope Francis said: “Wherever consecrated people are, there is always joy!” Please share our joy in celebrating the Year of Consecrated Life by stopping in one of our convents to meet our sisters
and tour our home.
Bring your families and friends! We especially invite young families, those who have not met us and those who have not had the opportunity to meet Religious Sisters. Stay tuned for more information about Days of Service with Religious this summer and a Day of Prayer with Religious on Sunday, September 13.
We look forward to sharing these days with you, so that you may discover, in the words of Pope Francis, that “joy, true joy, is contagious”.

Introducing the new LIFE App! Nearly half of all crisis pregnancies occur with college-aged women. The Sisters of Life partnered with FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students on The LIFE App as part of FOCUS’ Love Life initiative to save both mothers and their unborn children.
The Life App shows people how to respond with compassion and hope when encountering a woman in a crisis pregnancy situation who is feeling alone and afraid.
The app includes:
How to Respond uses videos to train the viewer about the importance of empathy and love when talking with women in these crucial situations.
Her Perspective suggests responses to common fears women have and additional special topics.
Help Centers is a quick and simple way to find local crisis pregnancy centers to quickly get women the professional help they need.
About has information on FOCUS, the Sisters of Life, and how to support the Love Life initiative.
Download and share The Life App with family and friends on social media and in person—the greater the reach, the more lives we will touch and save.
Download The Life App by searching “The Life App Catholic” in your app store, or clicking below.
